I know that it has been long since I have jotted down my thoughts, such as life! What a year! It has been filled with all the great things of life and all the wonderful challenges. I honestly have no regrets. Unlike other years, I would usually sit on days such as this and be bitter about the year and downs but this year, I have grown to understand that all these things called challenges are there for my good. Where will this growth that I continuously yearn for come from vele?
My year started with a wonderful family vacation in January where we went to Durban for a week I think. It was such a special time especially for the fact that all my three children were flying for the first time, Ndzhuneko (9), Chichi (5) and Tlotliso (6 months). It was something that we had decided that we would like to start doing each year where we start the year as a family refreshing and re-energising for the year. What a brilliant idea, well done Blessed Evista! I will do all my might to keep this tradition going. The joy in my mother's face when she was in the ocean made me feel like life was favoring me. All I want at this stage is to see my mother happy and I do my best each day. She has done so much for me, yes, she is my mother and she had to but some of the things she did, she did not have to but her unconditional life carried me through it all. Anyway, let us focus on highlights neh!
In February, Me and Husby did our first hiking trail and we loved it. It was really challenging for me because I am unfit and do not exercise but it was easy for my Husby and I asked him to go and leave me behind with my slow pace. We finally met at the end and we utterly enjoyed every moment of it. The scenery was too die for, so was the steeps, shuuuuuu!!! Seeing such beauty and wonders just reminded me of the kind of Father I serve, all so wonderful and majestic!
In March, we decided to purchase land that we, at that time wanted to build our dream home in an estate in Hartees. The purchase was successful as it was a great purchase and we were all excited. We met with our Architecture and the designs looks great. But other issues popped up during the year about the property and now we have put it on sale and made other plans...To be continued in 2020, hehe!
In April, we travelled to Ponto Do Auro- Mozambique! OH WOW, WOW, WOW! What an experience! I think I have found one of my regular destinations to be repeated. I think, well I know I came back a different person after Moz. Should I delve into it or just leave it here? WOW!!!
Still in April, you must remember that April is our wedding anniversary neh, so much must be done to celebrate our blessed union. So, we also wanted to do something with the kids of course. We went to Clarens for a weekend for a family Vac. That was too deep and too needed and obviously special. The kids enjoyed so much and we just got even sparkled up, hehe! Family vacations are a must and must be done as much as possible. I love spending time with my blessers, my family!
In June, we attended this beautiful wedding but we were also dressed to admire, wow! I really felt like the Queen that I am with my King next to me. What an experience! We also decided to make time for some things that we secretly love and started doing comedy nights. We utterly loved it and we hope to do more in 2020. Busy lives sometimes take away the moments but we will improve.
In July, we had planned to do something big for Neko's 10 years birthday. However, he was very naughty and we had to teach him a lesson and cancelled everything. We ended up having the best intimate birthday ever. A family lunch which was too personal and special and he enjoyed himself so much. We still thank God for Grace. We also did the walk the talk where we were praying and walking for Miraculous Healing for my Little Sister V. God has answered our prayers and we will continue to trust Him and serve Him forever more, Amen!!! My Husby booked me for my first ever SPA treatment. I enjoyed it so much, so relaxing and it has now become a monthly norm because my back needs it due to the job that I am doing.
In August, we had Tlotliso's 1st birthday party. What a yesesssss!!! The pictures tells the story more than anything else. She is such a princess and we love her deeply. We also celebrated Women's Day in style with my Mom and sister. We went all out and dressed up like the Queens that we are. I will forever treasure that day. We also celebrated one of our first Tzaneen gigs, will not go into details on this one, just noting it cause it was too significant.
In September, we did Joburg day where I was thee girlfriend having fun with her Husby. We really enjoyed the experience, the music, food but not the drinks as they only served what we did not like. Nevertheless, it was an awesome day. We also attended Chichi's fun day at school. We had so much fun relaxing, chatting while the kids were playing. I think days such as this are compulsory!!! We also did another family vacation in Sun City because the kids have been asking forever and so we delivered. I am forever grateful for being able to do things like these for my family and with my family, what a blessing.
My Mother released her first album! What a blessing to be doing great things at her age. We are blessed with having our own living Legend. She is an inspiration of note and we are so proud of her. In November, we celebrated our birthday in a number of ways: We went to Mauritius for a week, went to Sun City for a Spiritual Awakening, Partied, shopped till we dropped, did things we never done before....blessed beyond measure! Chichi also graduated from Grade R, going to big school now. She has grown too quickly for me. This can only be God ooooo!!!
In December, I took my mother and sister to Knsyna to celebrate mom's 68th birthday for a week. Oh my, was my mother happy! That place is too beautiful and almost feels as thou you are in another country on its own. We ate so much fish and gave mom the best birthday ever! We attended another wedding and we were dressed to admire, hehe! Christmas Day was at my Sister's place and it was a wonderful special Christmas Day. Everything was just on point. We are really blessed with a loving family.
I will not write about my challenges as they will paralyzed my blog but like I said, I am forever grateful for the as well! Lord, I thank you for 2019. You alone were the centre of it all and I will forever be grateful for that...
PS: All the pictures will be posted on my Instagram - Masase Diary! Just showcasing just some of these moments...
